The Mountain Goat boys operate their very own microbrewery in Richmond (inner Melbourne). They craft the Hightail Ale, Organic Steam Ale plus seasonal beers in longnecks like the Surefoot Stout , IPA and Double Hightail.
Mountain Goat has collected a swag of awards over the years for their traditional, all natural ales and now has about 80 bars in Melbourne pouring their beers on tap plus bottled beer distributed nationally.
Fancy Pants is back. And this time in a 375ml can. Think Hightail Ale but souped up with more malt, plenty of Galaxy hops and ABV of 5.2%. Making its way to good beer stores around the country now and available thru winter months.

The Hightail is an English inspired amber ale. It has a rich malt body and floral hop aroma. We handcraft our ales with the utmost care and avoid all preservatives, additives and pasteurisation.

The Hightail has collected a small bag of awards at the Australian International Beer Awards over the last 8 years including Trophy for Best Draught Ale (Small Brewery section) as well as numerous gold, silver and bronze medals.

The Steam is a crisp, certified organic ale. We incorporate a slap of wheat malt in the grist make-up and ferment it cool. We use Cascade and Citra hops to give it a fresh, zippy finish. Great as the weather warms up.
